List of all Alerts

The list of all Alerts allows you to effectively manage and monitor both open and closed Alerts in one place.

To access the list of all Alerts go to Manage > Alerts

Upon accessing the list of all Alerts, you will find your Alerts categorised in date order by default. However, the list can be sortable by the following columns:

  • Alert Number (#) – the unique identifier assigned to each Alert for quick reference and tracking.
  • Priority – level of urgency or importance assigned to each Alert, aiding in prioritising your response.
  • Status - current status of each Alert, distinguishing between open and closed Alerts for clear visibility.
  • Asset Name - identifies the Principal Asset associated with each Alert, providing context and relevance.
  • Component - specifies the component or part of the Asset which has the Alert.
  • Alert Title - concise title summarising the nature of the alert.
  • Start Time - timestamp indicating when the Alert was triggered or initiated.
  • Closed Time - timestamp indicating when the alert was resolved or closed.
  • Notes - expand the row using the arrow to read the notes.

Open & closed lists

filterExisting Alerts can be filtered by several dimensions – this allows you to refine your Alerts lists based on specific criteria.

  • Priority
  • Status
  • Asser Name
  • Notes

The search functionality searches every field with the Asset list.

Best Practices for Alert Handling

We recommended opening each Alert and following a systematic process for validation, qualification, deferral, and closure. Once the Alert is resolved, the status will be displayed within the ‘Closed Time’ column of the list of all Alerts.

Filtered rule lists can be exported as a CSV file but will only export what is visible on the page. By default, this is 100 Alerts, scroll down before exporting to export more.
